INVALID MODEL SELECTION—Personality connector PL5 is either not connected or jumpered wrong.
STEP
1. Turn power off and remove blower access panel.

The furnace will operate acceptably; however, a model selection circuit failure
has occurred and furnace control board is defaulting to last valid model selec-

tion. Board replacement is recommended but not necessary. This fault code will
flash continuously.
11. Fix poor terminal connection or replace personality connector.

SETUP ERROR—This fault indicates that setup switches SW-1 or SW-6 are ON when they should be OFF. The
following combinations will cause the fault:
• Thermostat call with SW-1 ON.
• Thermostat call with SW-6 ON.
• SW-1 and SW-6 both ON together.
