Adjust ETA

The ETA time calculated is based on a number of factors including the average speed and
speed limit of the roads included in your route, plus the mode you are travelling in, car,
motorhome & caravan or truck. If you feel that you regularly travel faster or slower than the
unit predicts, it is possible to adjust the ETA accordingly.
To adjust the ETA, press 'Navigate' from the Main menu and launch the navigation
software. Next, press the middle of the screen to access the navigation menu and then
press the "DEVICE SETTINGS" button at the top right hand corner of the screen. Next
select the "Settings" button and press it once. Scroll down the list of settings until you see
'ETA adjustment' and use the slider to increase or decrease the ETA.
Steep hill management – Truck and Motorhome & Caravan versions
only
When in truck or motorhome & caravan mode, the unit is designed to avoid any roads
with a gradient of 15% or more by default. You can increase or decrease this value or
switch it off completely if you prefer.
To adjust the Steep hill management setting or to switch it off, press 'Navigate' from the
Main menu and launch the navigation software. Next, press the middle of the screen
to access the navigation menu and then press the "DEVICE SETTINGS" button at the
top right hand corner of the screen. Next select the "Settings" button and press it once.
Scroll down the list of settings until you see 'Steep hill management' and use the slider
to increase or decrease the gradient accordingly.
