The setting structure is :

SURROUND
If you are using Dolby surround decoder,
please set the surround mode to ON.
And the other item OFF makes the Dolby
surround operation stops.
This means that you are using the 2
channel audio system.
If you want to automatically setup, select
last sub item AUTO.
