"shape"
of the enve-

The
RATE
parameters determine
how
long
it
takes the envelope to reach
one
LEVEL

another.
The
envelope
applied to
each operator can be
set individual-
ly,
permitting an
essentially infinite range of

function operates
only

the
EDIT mode

is
not stored
in
memory,
the
OUTPUT
LEVEL
of
all
unnecessary operators should be
set
to
0.
In
order
to
maintain constant
overall
output
level
even
when
changing
algorithms, the
output
level
of
all
the
carrier operators have
been
preset to
a
suitable value.
