Taking Pictures (AUTO Mode)

Turn the camera on.
A Press POWER (FinePix F480 / FinePix F485) / ON/
OFF (FinePix J50) down fully to turn the camera on.
B Set the Mode dial to q.

Holding the camera correctly
CAUTION
• Moving the camera while shooting gives a blurred
picture (camera shake). Hold the camera steadily with
both hands.
• If the lens or flash is obscured by your fingers or the
strap, subjects may be out of focus or the brightness
(exposure) of your shot may be incorrect.
Brace your elbows
against your sides and
hold the camera with both
hands.
Do not cover the lens or
flash with your fingers.
