Blueberry Banana
Antioxidant Smoothie
A great smoothie to start the day.
Makes 2 cups (500 ml)

cup (250 ml) frozen blueberries

grams soy protein powder (or soy protein isolate)

teaspoon (5 ml) flax seed oil

teaspoons (5 - 10 ml) honey (optional)
Place blueberries, banana, soy milk, protein powder, flax seed oil and
honey, if using, in mixing beaker. Insert the Cuisinart
making sure the protective guard is submerged. Blend, using a gentle
up-and-down motion until ingredients are combined, about 30 seconds.

Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie

Make your own chilled coffeehouse drink at home.
Makes one 12-ounce (340 ml) beverage

cup (175 ml) coffee ice cream or ice milk

cup (75 ml) strongly brewed coffee (may use espresso), chilled

For a thicker milkshake:
