To replace the M.2 storage drive, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 75.
3. Remove the storage drive bracket. See "Replacing the 2.5-inch storage drive" on page 82.
4. Locate the M.2 storage drive. See "Computer components" on page 5.
5. Pull out the plastic fastener that secures the M.2 storage drive so that the M.2 storage drive pops up.

6. Pull the M.2 storage drive out of the M.2 storage drive slot.

7. Insert the new M.2 storage drive into the M.2 storage drive slot. Ensure that the side with the circuit
board is facing down. Then, pivot the M.2 storage drive downward so that the fastener notch on the M.2
storage drive aligns with the plastic mounting stud on the system board.
