Selecting the programme from Prog. Type in the TV Guide
Press GUIDE to open the TV Guide.
The Programme Type function lets you display a TV Guide list sorted by programme types
(e.g. Movies, Sports).
Press the Blue button to display the list of programme types.
Use to select the desired programme type.
You may choose between:
All Types, Movies, News, Entertainment, Sports, Children's, Education, Lifestyle, Drama.
Make your selection (e.g. Movies) and press ENTER.
The programme guide is modified according to your selection.
All programme data is displayed in Landscape View. The inapplicable data is greyed out.
Only the programmes that match your selection are displayed in Portrait View.
Use to go through the TV Guide list.
To exit the list, press RETURN.
Selecting the programme from Category in the TV Guide
Press GUIDE to open the TV Guide.
The Category function lets you display a TV Guide list sorted by main category (e.g. Free
TV, Radio).
In an edited profile, you can compile and sort the stations that you prefer to watch.
You can only select the categories PROFILE 1 through PROFILE 4 if you have edited
them first.
Press the Yellow button to display the list of main category.
Use to select the desired main category.
You can choose between:
All Services, Free TV, Radio, PROFILE 1, PROFILE 2, PROFILE 3, PROFILE 4
Use to make your selection (e.g. PROFILE 1) and press ENTER.
Use to go through the TV Guide list.
To exit the list, press RETURN.
If you change the Category in the TV Guide, the selected Category is also retained after
you exit the TV Guide.
If you disconnect the unit from AC mains or switch to standby in Quick Start [Off] mode,
the programme information data is cleared and need to be reloaded after Power ON.
This DVD Recorder is for viewing and recording free to view channels only, not pay
TV or encrypted channels.
