13.1.
NEBS level-3 certification
Dot Hill uses UL for Safety Certifications and Nationally Recognized Test Lab (NRTL) for EMC and NEBS
compliance testing. Dot Hill 2U12 and 2U24 products also have TUV-GS mark for ease of shipment within
Germany. Dot Hill uses the following definitions for products regarding NEBS:
Dot Hill Systems (DHS) Data Storage Arrays may be designed to meet NEBS requirements depending upon customer
demand. In order to simplify the definitions of how Dot Hill documents different NEBS requirements, the definitions
used below document what this means for Dot Hill products:

Compliant

Declaration of Conformance
indicates that all necessary testing is complete and DHS "DECLARES" we have conducted all testing to the

Certified NEBS

standards in a NEBS certified test laboratory.
Dot Hill 2U12 and 2U24 product lines are NEBS Compliant.
13.2.
Super Capacitors
Dot Hills EcoStor
