6. With the throttle closed, push the starter button.
Release the starter button as soon as the engine starts.
7. Be sure to keep the throttle closed and the parking
brake locked (XCITING 500 i/Ri) while warming up the
engine.
8. Allow the engine to warm up before riding.
Do not "BLIP" the throttle (open and close rapidly) as the
scooter will move forward suddenly.
Do not leave the scooter unattended while the engine is
warming up.
