Error message
ADF is busy!
File Not Found
File open error!!
File write error!!
Gamma data read error!!
Help file is not found
Horizontal scan area is
too big. Would you like to
change the horizontal
scan size that will be able
to scan?
Memory Allocation Error!
No ASPI managers are
loaded. This typically
occurs when a DOS ASPI
manager is not resident in
memory.
Path Not Found
PCOM95. DLL Function
Error!!
PCom95.DLL was not
found!!
PCOM31. DLL Function

Possible cause
ADF is being used.
File or Path is not found.
Failed to transfer the file for
scanning.
Failed to load the data of the
gamma correction.
Help file is not found.
The width of the scan area is too
large.
Memory is insufficient.
SCSI board is not correctly set.
File or Path is not found.
Pcom95.dll internal error has
occurred.
The file Pcom95.dll is not found.
Pcom31.dll internal error has
occurred.
The file Pcom31.dll is not found.
Recovery
To scan or prescan, click RETRY on the
message window.
To cancel, click CANCEL on the message
window.
Reinstall the KX-PS8000 software.
Increase the hard disk space, then re-
scan.
Close the application which controls the
scanner, turn off the system
(scanner/printer/computer), then turn it on
again.
Reinstall the KX-PS8000 software.
Click Yes or No on the message window.
Yes: Makes the width of the scan area
smaller, so that it can be scanned.
No: The width of the scan area remains
same. Decrease the scanning
resolution, then re-scan.
Close the application which controls the
scanner, turn off the system
(scanner/printer/computer), then turn on
again.
Correctly set the SCSI board in the
computer. (Refer to the instructions
manual of the SCSI board.)
For any other trouble related to SCSI,
refer to the SCSI section of
Troubleshooting ( P.147).
Reinstall the KX-PS8000 software.
