Battery fails to
charge.
Calls cannot be

Abnormal charging.

The battery is defective or
of the wrong type.
The battery temperature
exceeds the charging
temperature range (too
hot or too cold).
The phone is locked.
Outgoing calls are barred.
Fixed dial is switched on
so that only the numbers
stored in Fixed dial can be
dialled.
The phone is not
registered with a network.
The phone is not switched
on.
Incoming calls are barred.
The phone is not
registered with a network.
Remedy
Replace with a new
battery.
Use the battery at room
temperature.
Unlock the phone.
Disable outgoing call
barring or barred dialling.
Switch off the Fixed dial.
Move to a coverage area
and operate your phone
after it has registered with
a network.
Switch the phone on.
Disable incoming call
barring.
Move to a coverage area
and operate your phone
after it has registered with
a network.
