Attention!
!
The charger and the battery to be charged must be placed on a non-combustible, heat-
resistant and non-conducting surface during operation. Never place the device on a car seat,
carpets or similar surfaces. Combustible or highly flammable objects are to be kept away
from the charging area. Ensure good ventilation.
Attention!
!
Batteries can explode or catch fire if they are defective.
Attention!
!
Connect the charger directly to the car battery using the original connection cables and
terminals only. The vehicle's engine must be turned off while the charger is connected to
the vehicle. The car battery must not be being charged by another charger at the same time.
Attention!
!
The charge outputs and the connection cables must not be modified or connected to each
other in any way. There is a danger of short circuit between the charge outputs and the vehicle
body when the charger is operated from the car battery. The charging cables and connection
cables must not become coiled during operation. Prevent short circuits between the charge
output or battery and the vehicle body. For this reason, never place the device directly on
the vehicle body.
Attention!
!
Never leave the charger unattended when it is connected to the power supply.
Only operate your charger in rooms fitted with a smoke detector.
Attention!
!
Only one battery must be connected to the charger at once.
Attention!
!
The following batteries must not be connected to the charger:
NiCd/NiMH batteries, LiFePO4/lithium-ion/lithium polymer batteries with more than 3 cells,
lead-acid batteries.
Batteries that require different charging technology to LiPo batteries.
Defective or damaged cells or batteries.
Batteries from different cells or cells connected in parallel.
Combinations of old and new cells or cells from different manufacturers.
Non-rechargeable batteries (dry cell batteries). WARNING: Explosion hazard!
Batteries or cells that have not been explicitly approved by the manufacturer for the
charging currents that occur when charging a battery with this charger.
Cells or batteries that have already been charged, are hot or are not fully discharged.
Batteries or cells with an integrated charging or termination circuit.
Batteries or cells that are installed in a device or are electrically connected to other
components at the same time.
