    Using the Sandwich Maker The Sandwich Maker has been designed with a handle that locks down to secure the contents when cooking. Always preheat your Cuisinart Sandwich Maker completely before using. The lid of the sandwich maker should be closed whilst preheating.

    Cleaning & Maintenance Before first use and after every use, clean each part thoroughly. Once you have finished cooking, turn the selector control to the ‘Off’ position, unplug the power cord from the mains, allow the appliance to cool for at least 30 minutes before handling. The sandwich plates can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.
