The remote control system

Here you get an overview of the remote control system of your Eurocopter and its various features and set-
tings. Before the fi rst fl ight, you should absolutely have read and understood all these functions and settings.

• Do make sure that the transmitter is turned off - ON / OFF switch in the lower position.
• Now open the battery compartment cover on the back of the transmitter with a suitable Phillips screwdri-
ver (1) and insert six AA batteries (no battery) into the battery compartment of the transmitter (2). Pay
attention to the correct polarity!

NOTE: if rechargeable batteries are used instead of alkaline batteries to power the transmitter, the
fl ight battery cannot be charged via the transmitter! The charge is then only possible via USB cable (see
store).
• Close the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw, then turn on transmitter - ON / OFF switch
push upwards.
• The POWER LED lits blue.
WARNING: if the POWER LED fl ashes or does not light at all, the model cannot be started – crash
hazard! Change transmitter batteries immediately.
• Check the POWER LED also during operation.
WARNING: if the POWER LED starts to fl ash, supported by a beep, land the helicopter immediately,
switch it off and replace the transmitter batteries – crash hazard!
