Light Copies
Does the exposure indicator say "lighter"?
Does the add toner indicator and message
appear on the display? (?)
Marked Copies
Is the copier platen glass or platen cover
dirty?
Is the original an OHP film or a dark
original?
If the measures outlined above do not solve the problem, call your Service provider.

Copier Care

As a rule, clean weekly.
Platen Cover
Press the Scroll key until the indicator LED
is set to Darker. (See P .12)
Replace the Toner Cartridge. (See P .46)
Clean the glass or platen cover.

Cover the original with a sheet of white
paper before copying or lighten the
exposure setting.
Platen/Platen Cover
# Wipe marks off with a cloth and a neutral
detergent.
$ Wipe again with a dry cloth.
