If the appliance is to be completely enclosed in a cabinet, feed the appliance cable through the opening in the cabinet.

Spread the seal around the edges of the cooktop with the adhesive side facing down, as shown in Figs. 6 and 7. Make sure that the whole perimeter is sealed. Cut off any excess material. Mount the supplied clamps (A) and screws (B) onto the cooktop, as shown (without tightening the screws).

Cooking guidelines Cookware Use heavy-gauge, flat, smooth-based cookware that matches the diameter of the cooking zone. This will provide good contact with the glass and help reduce cooking times. Low heat or slow cooking is often due to incorrect cookware size.
