PREVENTION/CURE
Replace the A A battery. (Follow assembly instruction)
Clean wire and/or electr ode with rubbing alcohol
W ipe dry with cloth
Replace electrode
Reconnect wire or replace electrode/wir eassembly
Replace igniter wire/electrod e assembly
Replace igniter
Check if L P gas cylind er is empty. If empty, replac e or refill,
or else refer to "sudden drop in gas flow or reduc ed fl ame
height"
T urning the coupli ng nut about one-half to three quarters
additi onal turn until solid stop. Tighten by hand only, D o not
use tool s.
Clear burner tubes, check for bent or kinked hose.
Clean v enturi
Replace or ref ill LP gas cylinder
T urn control knobs to "O F F ", wait 30 seconds and light
barbecue. If flames are still too low, reset the exce ssiv e flow
safety devic e by turning control knobs "O FF " and L P gas
cy linder v alve to "C L OSED".
control knobs to "H IG H ", wait 1 minute. T hen turn control
knobs to "OFF",
and reconnect regulator and leak check
connections . Slowly turn L P gas cylinde rv alve to "OPEN",
wait 30 seconds and then light barbecue per lighting
instructions.
Clean burner ports.
Burn barbecue for 15 minutes with the lid closed
Clean venturi
Clean burner
As sure burner ven turi is properly engaged with injector
D o not use barbecue in high winds
Replace or ref ill L P gas cylinder
Adjust (lower) temperature accordingly
Turn control knobs to "O F F ", T urn L P gas tank v alve to
"CLOSED".
Leave lid in closed position and let fire burn out.
After barbecue cools, remove and clean all parts
Clean burner and/or burner tubes
Baked on grease bui ldup has turned to carbon and is flaking
off. Clean thoroughly.
