    NOTES ___________________________________________________ Walkabout 5210 is a digital portable dictation machine which has also been developed as system component within the scope of the »Walkabout Write« transcriber workstation. To simplify the revision editing of recordings, the machine has been provided with new functions, such as the insertion or deletion of text passages.

    PREPARATIONS ________________________________________ Open the battery compartment. Insert the batteries (Mignon type, e.g. R6, UM3 or AA, 2 x 1.5 V). Observe correct polarity. If there are dictations in the »My dictations« directory, most functions are available. The currently active func- tions can also be shown by clicking with the right mouse button on a dictation.
