ENGINE OPERATION

Be sure to keep the harness away from the
rotation parts.
6. Be sure to install the stop switch lock
to the stop switch, and attach the stop
switch lanyard securely to the operator
or to the operator's PFD (Personal Flo-
tation Device.)
7. Set the control lever in the Neutral
position.
8. Pull the starter handle slowly until you
feel engagement, keep pulling till you
feel less resistance. Then pull it quickly.

wheel cover and top cowl.

Warm the engine at low engine speeds for

Before shifting into forward or reverse,

and outboard motor can be steered fully to
