Procedure 8-3 To search the data center network using the Cloud
Network navigation tree
This procedure explains how to search for data center network objects using the Cloud
Network navigation tree search functionality. Similar functionality exists for other
navigation tree views, such as the Equipment view. See the 5620 SAM User Guide for
more information on searching those navigation tree views.
Navigate to the Cloud Network navigation tree and open the search panel

Choose Cloud Network from the navigation tree view selector. The Cloud Network
navigation tree is displayed.

Enter Ctrl+F or click Find to expand the search panel.
Search for a data center network object

Configure search criteria for the object:

Click Find to execute the search.
The first object matching the search criteria is highlighted and expanded in the
navigation tree.

Use the Next and Previous arrow buttons to find additional matching objects.

Procedure 8-4 To configure OpenFlow on a VSC

Perform this procedure to configure OpenFlow parameters on a VSC, if required. You
can configure hold times and configure the default network QoS policy. You can also
assign peer access filters.

Assign a POD to the interconnect from the Cloud Network navigation tree by
clicking and dragging a POD to the selected interconnect.
Assign a POD to the interconnect from the Data Center Interconnect
properties form by navigating to the PODs tab and clicking the Add to view a
list of available PODs.
Search for a VM using the VM UUID.
Search for a V-Port using the IP or MAC address.
Search for a POD or interconnect using the ID.
Search for a network element using the site ID, site name, or management IP
address.
Search for a physical component using the shelf, card slot, daughter card slot,
or port number.
