GAS CHARGE

CHECKING THE GAS PRESSURE

Inspect the nitrogen gas pressure every 100 hours.
PROCEDURE
1. The gas pre-charge is measured with no
preload on the tool (HH). Remove the tool
or position the hammer (DR) with the tool
fully extended.
2. Remove the charge valve cap (M1) from
the hammer charge valve (M).
remove the charge valve assembly!
3. Turn the NPK charge adapter T-handle
(g2) to a full counterclockwise position.
4. Install the NPK charging adapter (g1) on
the hammer charge valve located on
hammer gas head (L).
5. Tighten the charge adapter cap (g6).
