• If you use the height-of-cut setting 1 or 2, move
the gauge wheels to the upper (highest) hole in the
wheel brackets (Figure 9).
• If you use the height-of-cut setting 3 through 7,
install the gauge wheels in the bottom (lowest) hole
in the wheel bracket (Figure 9).

Note: The gauge wheels should not contact the
ground continuously during operation.
Starting the Engine
1. Open the fuel shut-off valve located between the
fuel tank and the engine (Figure 10).

2. Sit down on the seat.
