temperature from heaters or direct sunlight.

Allow 6 inches (15 cm) of free space between
the ventilation openings and the neighbor
surfaces for the unit not to heat up.
- Mechanical parts of the unit contain bearings
with self lubricating; they do not need lubrica-
tion.

cleaners, which contain alcohol, ammonia,
petroleum or abrasives, because they can
damage the body of the unit.

CLEANING OF THE RECORDING MECHA-

Magnetic heads of the cassette recorder, its
capstan idlers and capstan axis require periodi-

the magnetic head worse. Switch off the unit,
pressing the STOP/EJECT button, to open the
cassette slot, and press the PLAY button. Clean
the magnetic heads of the cassette recorder, its
capstan idlers and capstan axis with a soft cloth
or a cotton pad, dampened in isopropyl alcohol,
or use a special substance for cleaning mag-
netic heads.
NOTE: never use metal objects during
cleaning of magnetic heads. Provide that
cleaning substances do not get into the cas-
sette slot.
CLEANING OF THE UNIT
• To avoid fire or electric shock, unplug the
unit before cleaning.
• You can clean the surface of the unit using
the cloth for dust removal. Be careful when
cleaning plastic parts.

a soft dry cloth for dust removal. Do not use
wax or abrasive polishes to clean columns
