CHAPTER 3. Router Installation
Connecting the iBG3026
This section describes how to connect the iBG3026 router to various network
interfaces. Follow the procedure for the interface appropriate for your network
facility environment.
LAN Interface
The iBG3026 router accommodates several network connections. Use a
Category 5 (minimum) Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors to connect to the
network.
1.
Insert the RJ-45 connector on one end of the cable in any of the Ethernet
ports.
2.
Connect the RJ-45 connector on the other end of the cable to the
designated network. Make sure that the cable connectors are locked and
secure in the ports.
