After )ong periods (many years) of use, dust and particies and
other contamination witi accumutate on the LCD pane! Ass'y
(LCD pane! and potarizing p!ate). tons, mirror, etc. and the
picture wiii tend to darken and coior biurring may occur.
When this occurs, cteaning of the inside of the unit wi!i be
necessary. For dust and tight accumulation of contamination.
use an air spray to remove the dust. if the contamination
cannot bo removed by air spray, disassembly and cleaning of
the unit wtii bo necessary. Perform aii cleaning according to the
cteaning methods given beiow.
Remove dust from the LCD pane) Ass'y by inserting the air
spray nozzie in the openings on both sides of the sets holding
the LCD panel Ass'y. (Caution: A)ways use a nozzte made of
resin. Afso bo very careful not to cause any damage to the
LCD panel assembly parts with the nozzte tip.
Use a commercial (insert gas) air spray designed for
camera cleaning use. Never use any cfeaner other than
that specified for cleaning the LCD panel Ass'y (LCD panel
and potarizing ptate). tens, mirror, etc. Also, never scrape
with any hard material as this will cause damage.
