Parts of the Cooktop
Sealed Burners: Gaskets around the underside of
all burner bases prevent spilled liquids from leaking
into the cooktop's internal parts.
Long-Life Grates: The porcelain coated cast iron
grates support the cookware. The grates are remov-
able to allow the surface area underneath to be
easily cleaned.
Spill Trays: The spill trays catch any food that falls
through the cooktop grates.
Trim Rings: Located underneath each knob, trim
rings display the burner and flame settings. See
Operating Your Cooktop for more information.
