The steamer does not
produce any steam.
Water drips from the
steamer head.
The steamer produces a
pumping sound and vibrates.
There is water coming out
from underneath the base.
Nothing happens after I press
the auto-clean button.
(GC430 only)
Some steam comes out
of the steamer during the
Auto-clean process.
Possible cause
The steamer has not heated
up sufficiently.
You have not pressed the
steam trigger fully.
The water level in the water
tank is too low.
The steamer needs to
prepare for first use.
The steamer head has not
heated up sufficiently.
You may have pressed the
auto-clean button (GC430
only).
Water is pumped to
the steamer head to be
converted into steam.
The cap of the filling/
emptying opening has not
been closed properly.
There could be a connection
problem.
There is insufficient water
inside the water tank.
You have not hold the
auto-clean button
The steamer may produce
some steam at the start
of the Auto-clean process,
especially if the steamer head
it still hot from the previous
steaming session.
The steamer may produce
some steam at the end of
the Auto-clean process. This
happens because the steamer
evaporates the remaining
water to prevent water from
spitting out at the start of the
next steaming session.
Solution
Let the steamer heat up for approximately
40 seconds before you use it.
Press the steam trigger fully.
Refill the water tank before continue
steaming.
After the steamer has heated up, you need
to press and hold the steam trigger for
20 seconds to start the steam production.
Let the steamer heat up for approximately
40 seconds before you use it.
Avoid pressing the auto-clean button
during steaming.
This is normal.
Close the cap of the filling/emptying
opening properly.
Check if the mains plug is inserted properly
in the wall socket and if the wall socket is
working properly.
Fill the water tank fully with water first
before you use the Auto-clean function.
Press and hold the auto-clean button for
1 second to activate the process. When the
process is activated properly, you will see
the auto-clean light blinking on the left side
of the button.
