Replacing processors
Installing the heat sink
Please observe the following warning notices when installing a used heat sink.

CAUTION!
Before mounting the heat sink, check that the heat sink compound is
intact. If it is not, you must do the following before reinstalling the heat
sink:
Ê Remove any remnants of the heat sink compound from the bottom of
the heat sink and clean the top of the processor. Use a lint-free
Isopropyl alcohol wipe (e.g. CleanTex TexPad 801, available from
specialist dealers).
Ê Apply a new film of heat sink compound to the bottom of the heat sink.
To install a new heat sink, proceed as described below .

Ê Remove the yellow tape from the underside of the heat sink, and then
remove the transparent cover protecting the thermal paste.
