To pair your mobile phone with the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2:
If your Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2 cannot connect to a compatible mobile phone, try the following steps:
The Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2 appliance is connected to the vehicle cigar lighter socket or on-board power socket to receive electricity. Ensure that the hands-free appliance engages completely and that its operation does not negatively influence the vehicle. The LED status indicator (6) blinks twice every 3 seconds and a short high signal tone sounds once when it is in standby mode.
When you receive a call on the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2, the LED status display (6) blinks and you hear a call tone. To accept the call, press the multi-function button (7) shortly once.
To reconnect the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2 with the last used mobile phone, ensure Bluetooth® is activated on your mobile telephone, then switch the hands-free appliance on. It is not necessary to enter a passcode when connecting to a previously coupled mobile telephone. A short, high signal tone will confirm the connection once it is established.
To switch on the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2, press and hold the multi-function button (7) for 3 seconds until a short and high signal tone is heard. The LED status indicator (6) will then blink twice every 3 seconds.
You can adjust the sound volume level of the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2 using the +/- buttons (3). During a call, repeatedly press the + or - buttons until the desired sound volume level is obtained. A short signal tone indicates the maximum sound volume level.
To switch off the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2, press and hold the multi-function button (7) for 3 seconds until a long and deep signal tone is heard. The LED status display (6) will then extinguish.
The pre-programmed passcode for pairing the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2 is "9999". However, with newer mobile phones (Bluetooth 2.0 or more modern), it's possible that the passcode may not need to be entered.
To reject an incoming call on the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2, press the multi-function button (7) for 3 seconds.
To charge a 5V device using the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2, connect the device to be charged with the USB port (4) on the hands-free unit. Ensure the device's input voltage (5V) and power input (1000 mA) are compatible. The device will then receive power, and if it has a charging indicator, it will show that it is being charged.
Before cleaning the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2, always separate the electricity supply from the appliance. Clean the housing surfaces with a slightly moist soft cloth. Do not use strong detergents, solvents, or abrasive cleaning agents, and never submerge the appliance in water or other liquids or permit liquids to permeate into the housing.
You can couple the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2 with up to eight mobile telephones. However, it can only be connected with one mobile telephone at a time. If a further mobile telephone is coupled, the coupling information of the first coupled mobile telephone is erased.
You can separate the mobile phone from the Silvercrest SBTF 10 B2 by either switching the hands-free appliance off or by separating the connection using the Bluetooth® menu on your mobile telephone. You do not need to erase the coupling with the hands-free appliance in the Bluetooth® menu to separate the connection.
