7. If it tracks to the left, loosen the bolts and adjust the
right stop plate rearward on the right T-slot until the
machine tracks straight (Figure 60).
8. Tighten the stop plate (Figure 60).

Checking the Tire Pressure

Service Interval: Every 50 hours/Monthly (whichever
comes first)
Maintain the air pressure in the rear tires at 13 psi (90
kPa). Uneven tire pressure can cause uneven cut. Check
the tires when they are cold to get the most accurate
pressure reading.
Note: The front tires are semi-pneumatic tires and do
not require air pressure maintenance.
3. Stop plate
Checking the Wheel Hub
Slotted Nut
Service Interval: After the first 100 hours
Every 500 hours
See Figure 62 to determine which slotted nut has been
installed on the unit.
1. Style A (black finish)
2. .03 inch (.76 mm)
• Style A (black finish):
Torque the slotted nut to 211-260 ft-lb (286-352
N-m).
Note: Do Not use anti-seize on wheel hub.
• Style B (yellow zinc):
1. Remove and discard the cotter pin.
2. Torque the slotted nut to 200 ft-lb (271 N-m).
3. Check distance from bottom of slot in nut to
inside edge of hole. Two threads (0.1 inch) or
less should be showing.
