Slide the enclosure onto these mounting hardware so that the enclosure rests on the
thinner section of the holes.
Tighten the mounting hardware.
Install and tighten the remaining mounting hardware in the bottom two mounting holes.
Grounding the door:
For grounding the door to the AE2 enclosure, slide the spade end onto either of the tabs
at the bottom of the door hinges and connect the other end to the ground post located to
the right of the bottom knockouts using a washer and nut (not supplied) to hold the wire
tightly to the enclosure.
For grounding the door to the AE4 enclosure, connect one end of the wire to the ground
post on the enclosure door and the other end to the ground post located just under the
left top mounting hole using the supplied nuts.
Grounding the transformer:
The AE2 enclosure can contain two D126 (7 Ah) batteries and a control board, but in this
configuration the transformer must be installed in a separate enclosure. If a control board
and transformer are installed in the AE2 enclosure, the batteries must be installed in a
separate enclosure and the transformer grounded at the same point where the AE2 base
and cover are grounded together (see Figure 3.1, callout 4).
For grounding a transformer to the AE4 enclosure, connect the ground wire from the
transformer\power cord to the ground post located to the right of the transformer
mounting posts.
