Installing the nano-SIM Card The nano-SIM card can be installed or removed while the phone is turned on. WARNING! To avoid damaging the phone, do not use any other kind of SIM card, or any non-standard nano-SIM card cut from a SIM card.
If the battery is low, a message displays on the screen. As the phone charges, the lock screen displays the exact battery level on the status bar. Note: The ZTE AXON PRO comes with a special 5.0V/1.5 A charger that supports fast charging capabilities that other chargers do not offer.

Using unapproved accessories could damage the phone or cause the battery to explode. CAUTION: Only ZTE or a ZTE authorized service provider can change the built-in rechargeable battery in the phone. Connect the adapter to the charging jack. Ensure the adapter is inserted with the correct orientation.
Disconnect the charger when the battery is fully charged. NOTE: If the battery is extremely low, the phone may not power on even during charging. Try again after charging the phone for at least 20 minutes. Contact Customer Service if you still cannot power on the phone after prolonged charging.
Setting Up the First Time When powering on the phone after purchase or resetting it to factory settings, you must set some settings before using it. For more information about resetting to factory settings, see Backup and Reset, Touch language to select the language. Follow the prompts to set up Wi-Fi, Google account, Google location, and other options.
NOTE: If you set an unlock pattern, a PIN or a password for your phone, draw the pattern or type the PIN or password to unlock your screen. For more information about screen lock patterns, see Protecting Your Phone With Screen Locks Using the Touch Screen Use the touch screen to control screen activity.

Touch and Hold To open the available options for a message or link in a Web page, touch and hold the message or link. Swipe or Slide To swipe or slide means to quickly drag your finger vertically or horizontally across the screen.

Drag To drag, press and hold your finger with some pressure before you start to move your finger. While dragging, do not release your finger until you reach the target position. Pinch In some apps, such as Maps, Browser, and Gallery, you can zoom in and out by placing two fingers on the screen at the same time and pinching them together to zoom out or spreading them apart to zoom in.

Protecting the Phone with Screen Locks To unlock the screen, swipe the screen, draw a pattern or type a numeric PIN or password to unlock the phone’s screen and keys. To enable screen lock: Touch the Home key > > Settings > Security > Screen lock.
Protecting the Phone with Encryption You can encrypt all the data on the phone: your accounts, application data, music, and other media, downloaded information, and so on. If you do, you must type a numeric PIN or a password each time you power on the phone. WARNING!: Encryption is irreversible.
If you change your mind about encrypting your phone, touch the Back key. WARNING!: If you interrupt the encryption process, you will lose data. Touch ENCRYPT PHONE. Type your lock screen PIN or password and touch NEXT. Touch ENCRYPT PHONE again. The encryption process starts.

Rearranging the Primary Shortcuts The home screen includes a customizable primary shortcuts area at the bottom of the screen that is visible from all home screens. You can keep up to four items in the primary shortcuts area. Drag shortcuts or folders in or out of the area to rearrange it.
Change Input Methods When using the onscreen keyboard to type text, the icon displays in the status bar. Open the notification panel and touch Change keyboard. Select the input method you need. NOTE: The icon appears only when more than one input method is installed and enabled.
