Selecting the run-on time

It is advisable to run the fan for a few
minutes after cooking has finished to
remove any lingering vapours and
odours in the air.
With the run-on option the fan switches
itself off automatically after a pre-selec-
ted time.
 After cooking has finished, press the
run-on option control  whilst the
fan is still running.
– Once: the fan switches off after 5
minutes (left indicator lamp).
– Twice: the fan switches off after 15
minutes (right-hand indicator lamp).
– To deactivate the run-on option,
press the run-on option control 
again. The appliance does not switch
off automatically (the indicator lamp
will go out).

Switching the fan off

 Press the On/Off control  to switch
the fan off.
The indicator lamp will go out.
Dimming/switching the hob
lighting on/off
The hob lighting can be switched on
and off and dimmed independently of
the fan.
 Briefly press the lighting control  to
switch the hob lighting on and off.
The lighting will switch on at maximum
brightness.
 With the lighting switched on, press
and hold the hob lighting control 
in.
The brightness will gradually dim until
you release the control.
 Press and hold in the hob lighting
control  again.
The hob lighting will become brighter
again until you release the control.

Safety switch-off

Should the cooker hood be left on, the
fan will switch off automatically after 10
hours. The lighting will remain on.
 Pressing the On/Off control will
switch the fan back on again.
