Bagging the Clippings
Use the grass bag when you want to collect grass and leaf
clippings from the lawn.
If the side discharge chute is on the mower, remove it and
lock the side discharge door (refer to Removing the Side
Discharge Chute) before bagging the clippings.
The blade is sharp; contacting the blade can result
in serious personal injury.
Stop the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop
before leaving the operating position.
Installing the Grass Bag
1. Go to the left side of the lawn mower.
2. Step on the handle release bar (Figure 22).

3. Raise the handle to the vertical position (Figure 23).

4. Raise and hold up the rear door (Figure 24).

5. Remove the rear discharge plug (Figure 25).

6. Install the bag (Figure 26).

7. Lower the rear door.
8. Return the handle to the operating position.
