When the descaling process is fi nished the word "Refi ll"
appears in the display.
• Empty the vessel with the used descaling solution -
and also the drip collector if necessary - and replace
it under the hot water/steam nozzle.
• Rinse out the water tank (4) thoroughly and fi ll it with
fresh water.
The „Refi ll" symbol fl ashes. A waiting period of 12 minu-
tes follows. After the waiting time has expired the "Refi ll"
and "Recover" symbols fl ash alternately. The water is
expelled from the hot water/steam nozzle.
• Turn the hot water/steam switch to OFF when the
water tank is empty.
The descaling process is fi nished. The machine is prehe-
ated and changes to the normal mode. Fill the water tank
again with fresh tap water.

Troubleshooting

When one of the warning messages described above
is displayed, the arrowheads in the display move in an
anticlockwise direction.

steam switch back
to the OFF position.
Press the START
button. "Warning"
goes off and "M"
stops fl ashing.
Check the correct
position (see sec-
tion on „Cleaning
the Brew Group")
and restart the
machine.
Ensure it is
correctly
positioned.
Empty the coffee
grounds container.
