be received
or
not.
Normally, "hold" messages cany
a data value
of on/off, but
by
using a
MIDI
devices
that can transmit a continuous
value,
you can
control instrument decay.

Some
sequencers
will
handle only
on/off
data
for
"hold"
messages.
In
such cases,
decay
changing can not be
recorded.
