TV front and side panel controls and connections
Models 40SL412U, 46SL412U, and 55SL412U are used in this Easy Setup Guide for illustration purposes.

1 Remote sensor -
Point the remote control toward this remote
sensor.
2 Touch Sensor -
Touch Sensor controls are only avai lable when
touched.
Except for POWER key. the first touch on the sensor key shows
Touch Sensor window and further touch work according to Touch
Sensor window indication.
- POWER -
To turn the TV on and off.
- VOL +- -
These buttons adjust the volume level. When a menu
is on-screen, these buttons function as left/right menu navigation
buttons.

When no menu is on-screen, these buttons change
the channel (programmed channels only). When a menu is on-
screen, these buttons function as up/down menu navigation
buttons.

- MENU(OK) -
To access the menu system. When a menu is on-
screen, the
MENU
button on the TV's control panel functions as
the
OK
bulton.
- INPUT (EXIT) -
To change the source you are viewing. When a
menu is on-screen. the
INPUT
button on the TV's control panel
functions as the
EXIT
button.
Touch Sensor window -
Touch Sensor window indicates the
function of the touch sensor. This window doesn't appear until
you activate the Touch Sensor.

1 PC IN -
For use when connecting a personal computer.
2 HDMI® IN-
High-Definition Multimedia Interface input receives
digital audio and uncompressed digital video from an HDMI
device or uncompresscd digital video from a DVI device. HDMI
connection is necessary to receive I080p signals.
3 PC/HDMI1 (AUDIO) IN -
PC audio input terminal is shared
with HDMI I analog audio input terminals. and its use can be
configured in the
Audio Setup
menu.
4 ANT/CABLE -
Input that supports analog (NTSC) and digital
(ATSC) off-air antenna signals and analog and digital Callie TV
(QAM) signals.
5 DIGITAL AUDIO OUT -
Optical audio output in Dolby Digital or
PCM (pulse-Code Modulation) format for connecting an external
Dolby Digital decoder. amplifier. or home theater system with
optical audio input.
6 ANALOG AUDIO OUT -
Analog audio outputs for connecting an
audio amplifier.

ColorStream@ HD/VIDEO -
These include standard
AN
connections.
Note: Component/Standard (composite) video cables carry
only video information; separate audiO cables are required
for a complete connection.
8 USB port -
To access JPEG or MP3 files.
