    Charge the Battery Before Use. The TASER CAM HD battery must be charged and functional prior to use. Be aware that a battery can fail to function, fail to charge, fail to maintain a charge, or deteriorate over time. Properly main- tain the battery and ensure that it is fully functional.

    Notes: • Ensure that you fully charge the TASER CAM HD recorder before the first use (before it is inserted into a CEW). • For any subsequent charging performed with the recorder inserted in the CEW, ensure that the safety switch is in the down (SAFE) position and that the cartridges are removed from the CEW.
