Replacing the Palm Rest

Procedure

1 Align and place the palm rest on the computer base.
2 Press down on the edges of the palm rest to snap it into place.
3 Replace the screws that secure the palm rest to the computer base.
4 Slide the touchpad cable into the connector on the system board and
press down on the latch to secure the cable.
5 Close the display and turn the computer over.
6 Connect the hard-drive cable to the system board.
7 Replace the screws that secure the palm rest to the computer base.

Post-requisites

1 Replace the keyboard.
2 Replace the optical

4 Replace the battery.
