Use of Three-step zigzagrTricot
stitch.
This is a strong stitch because as its
name implies, it makes three short
stitches where the normal zigzag
makes only one.
For thi s reaso n it is highly
reco mmended for overcasting aile
types of fabrics ..
It is also idea l for mending tears,
patching. sewing towelling,
patchwork and attaching flat elastic.

Der Elastik Stich.
Der Elastikstich ist besonders
strapazierfahig, weil er. anders
als dcr normale Zickzackstich,
auf gleichem Raum drei Kleine,
kurze Stich naht.
Er empfiehlt sich daher fUr aIle
Uberwendingsarbeiten an
Stoffkanten, die zum Ausfransen
neigen .
Weiterhin ist der Elastikstich gut
einzusetzen zum Flicken, zu
Patchwork-Arbeiten und zum
Aufnahen von Gummiband.
