All-frame erase
This function erases all the pictures on the card.

In the playback mode top menu, select MODE MENU T CARD T
CARD SETUP, and press

• All the pictures are erased. Protected pictures are not erased.
Formatting cards (Card setup)
This function lets you format a card. Formatting prepares cards to receive
data. Before using non-Olympus cards or cards which have been formatted
on a PC, you must format the card with this camera.
All existing data, including protected pictures, are erased when the
card is formatted. Make sure that you save or transfer important data
to a PC before formatting a used card.
