Daily use

Place a suitable cookware on the cooking
zone before switching on the appliance
or immediately after operating it.
Adjusting the heat setting
Before being used again, the control knob
must be set to the off position.
Automatic switch off.
If one of the cooking zones is switched on with-
out an appropriate pan on the correspondent
area the cooking surface automatically
switches itself off after a couple of minutes. If
one of the cooking zones is not switched off
after a certain time, or if the heat setting is not
modified, the relevant cooking zone switches
off automatically. Before being used again, the
control knob must be set to the off position.

Helpful hints and tips

Cookware is suitable for induction cook-
ing zones if marked by the manufacturer.
Certain cookware can make noises when
being used on induction cooking zones.
The noises are not fault of the appliance and
do not affect operation in any way
Cookware sizes
Induction cooking zones adapt automatically
to the size of bottom of the cookware up to a
certain point. However the magnetic part of
the bottom of the cookware must have a min-
imum diameter depending on the size of the
cooking zone.

• If possible, always place lids on the pans.
• Place cookware on the cooking zone before
you switch it on.
• The bottom of the cookware should be as
thick and flat as possible.
