Diagnosis of Electrical Failure
Prior to any repair work on the machine or drives, the machine must be
secured against unintentional start-up. Put the machine in its Safety-off
position.
Work on electrical equipment or operating materials may only be undertaken
by a skilled electrician or by trained persons under the guidance and
supervision of a skilled electrician in accordance with the electrical engineering
regulations.
Failure
Motor does not start up
Motor stops during
operation
Call your local dealer if you can't solve the problem.

Possible Reasons for the
Failure
Shroud is out of adjustment
Dust hose is clogged
Dust collector malfunction
Possible Reasons for the
Failure
Missing Phase
Faulty Switch or relays
Emergency Stop
Current power is too high.
Supply circuit breaker is
disengaged.
Motor is damaged.
Corrective Actions
Adjust shroud and tighten to no
more than 2 mm above floor.
Inspect dust hose and ports
for debris that may be clogging
hose.
Verify dust collector is operating
properly
Corrective Actions
Check power supply
Get diagnosis and replacement
by a skilled electrician
Unlock the emergency stop
button
Disconnect plug.
Reset circuit breaker or replace
fuse.
Inspect motor.
