IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before using this appliance, read through all the instructions
and only use accordingly.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
3. The appliance is intended only for use indoors, not for
outdoor use or commercial use.
4. Do not use the appliance anywhere near easily flammable
gases or substances such as solvents, lacquers, glues, etc.
Some of the internal parts can be hot and could throw sparks.
5. Do not position the appliance immediately below a power
socket.
6. Keep flammable materials at least 100cm away from the
heater. To prevent burns, do not allow bare skin to come in
contact with hot surfaces.

Do not cover the appliance with anything, as indicated
by the symbol . This can lead to overheating, fire or electric
shocks. Ensure that the air intake and outlet vents are not
obstructed.
8. Do not use this appliance or the power cord if it is damaged
or shows signs of damage, if it has fallen over, or does
not function properly. Repairs must be carried out by
manufacturer-approved service centres.
9. The power cord can be stored inside the unit by re-inserting
it into the unit. This should only be done when the unit is
not in use.
10. The air outlet grille can become very hot during operation
- please do not touch with bare hands.
11. Never touch the unit with wet hands.
12. HZ-600 is in frost watch mode when the timer is set to "0".
This means that when the room temperature drops below
5˚C the unit will automatically operate.
13. The electrical installation which is to be connected must
conform with local regulation requirements.
14. In zone 3, socket outlets are permitted only if they are
protected by a residual current protective device with a
residual operating current/Om not exceeding 30mA.
15. This unit has an IPx1 protection level and is suitable for use
in bathroom, when wall mounted, excluding Zones 1 & 2.
16. Ensure that the unit is not accessible from the shower or
bathtub.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
This appliance is suitable for free standing or wall mounted use.
For use when free standing please ensure 50cm clear distance
behind the unit and 1m clear distance in front of the unit and
do not locate near water.
WALL MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
For wall mounting details please refer to page 5.
Screws for mounting are included with the unit.
Always ensure that minimum distances are adhered to as shown
on page 5.
1. Fix bracket to the wall as indicated on page 5.
2. Position base of unit into base of bracket at desired angle (1).
3. Clip upper arm of bracket onto back of unit at corresponding
angle (2).
4. Repeat in reverse order to remove unit from bracket.

CLEANING
We recommend you to clean the appliance twice a year with a
vacuum cleaner.
1. Unplug the unit
2. Allow it to cool down for 20 mins
3. Use a vacuum cleaner to suck out dust and dirt from both grilles
