Connecting I/O Devices
The backplane of the motherboard has the following I/O ports:
PS/2 mouse and
keyboard combo
connector
USB 2.0 Ports
USB 3.0 Ports
LAN Port
HDMI Port
(DVI port optional)
VGA Port
Audio Ports
Connect the PS/2 Keyboard or PS/2 Mouse to the PS/2
combo port.
Use the USB 2.0 ports to connect USB 2.0 devices.
Use the USB 3.0 ports to connect USB3.0 devices.
Connect an RJ-45 jack to the LAN port to connect your
computer to the network.
Connect the HDMI port to the HDMI devices.
Connect your monitor to the VGA port.
Use the audio jacks to connect audio devices. The first jack
is for stereo line-in signal. The second jack is for stereo
line-out signal. The third jack is for microphone.
