4.6 Test Menu

4.6.1 Starting Test Menu

You can start Test Menu operation as shown below.
1. Ensure that "Ready" is displayed on

4.6.2 Test Page Print (TestPrint Submenu)

This submenu prints the test pattern (Test Page) on the printer under the
following conditions:
Input tray: The input tray displayed in the upper line of the LCD is used.
However, if the test media type setting has been set to transparency, Tray 1
will be selected.
Media size: The Test Page fits an A4 paper size. The printers attempts to
scale the print to the selected page size. However if the selected page size is
much smaller than A4 parts of the page may not print. Also, if a custom page
size is used the image will be based on the "PaperDispl" menu setting.
Media type and print mode (simplex or duplex) are determined by the Test-
Mode submenu setting.
Shown below is the procedure for printing the Test Page when Test Menu has
been selected. A sample printout follows the procedure.
