Problem
Power outage,
clock flashes
"Burning" or "oily"

Possible Causes
What To Do
• Reset the clock. If the oven was in use, you must reset
it by touching the CLEAR/OFF pad, setting the clock
and resetting any cooking function.
• To speed the process, set a self-clean cycle
for a minimum of 3 hours. See the Using the
self-cleaning oven section.
• Adjust the oven burner air shutter.
• This is normal in a new oven, and will disappear
in time.
• This is normal. The fan will run until the function
is over or the door is opened.
• See the Broiling section.
• Use the illustrations below to determine if your
burner flames are normal. If burner flames look
like A, call for service. Normal burner flames should
look like B or C, depending on the type of gas you
use. With LP gas, some yellow tipping on outer cones
is normal.
