Memory Card Tips
•
'Ōlelo requires the use of class 10 SDHC cards.
•
To insert a memory card, metal contacts must
face left side. The card's lock switch should
face upwards.
•
If you insert a memory card into the slot in the
wrong direction, the memory card, the memory
card slot, or image data may be damaged.
•
When the card access lamp is lit or flashing red,
your camera is reading/writing data. DO NOT
shake or knock the camera, or turn power off,
eject memory card, or remove the battery pack.
Otherwise, image data may be damaged.
•
To eject, lightly push card once, then remove card.
•
Estimated record time on a 16GB is 85 minutes in 1080i FX mode.
White Balance
•
Use the white balance button on the camera's left panel to manually bring up the
white balance mode.
•
The NX5U camera allows you to preset two white balance settings, great for
presetting indoor and outdoor settings, or two different lighting schemes.
•
Always bring a white sheet of paper to the shoot or have a crew member
wear a white shirt if possible to provide convenient 'white' for white balancing.
