SECTION 6 - ROTARY KNOB WASHER TECHNICAL DATA

Diagnostic Mode Tests

IMPORTANT
All of the tests listed below should be performed with an empty tub. No balancing algorithms are
performed by the motor control board, so anything left in the tub will cause a serious out-of-
balance situation and potential damage to the washer as it reaches higher spin speeds.

At "position 0" chime will beep and status LED's (and digital dis-
play, if equipped) will blink repeatedly.
Turn the cycle selector knob one click away from 12 O'Clock
position. The lid lock will activate and the hot water solenoid will
activate and hot water should enter the tub.
Turn the cycle selector knob two clicks away from 12 O'Clock po-
sition. The cold water solenoid will activate and cold water should
enter the tub. If unit is equipped with fabric softener option, the
softener dispenser solenoid will activate and the fabric softener
chamber will fi ll up with cold water as it siphons.
Turn the cycle selector knob three clicks away from 12 O'Clock
position. The lid lock will deactivate and the lid can be opened.
The tub light (if equipped) will activate.
Turn the cycle selector knob four clicks away from 12 O'Clock
position. The lid lock will activate and both the hot and cold wa-
ter solenoids will activate fi ll the tub to a certain level. After the
pressure sensor has been satisfi ed, agitation will begin and the
recirculation pump (if equipped) will turn on.
Turn the cycle selector knob fi ve clicks away from 12 O'Clock
position. All motor movement will stop, and only the drain pump
will activate, draining out any water in the tub.
Turn the cycle selector knob six clicks away from 12 O'Clock posi-
tion. The drain pump turns on and the washer goes to high spin.
Spin should always happen in the counterclockwise direction of
the tub.
Turn the cycle selector knob seven clicks away from 12 O'Clock
position. The control will signal the last 5 error codes and soft-
ware version with "00" being no error. Refer to section "Reading
Error Codes" and "Error Code Chart".
